Biography: David Eddings was born in the year 1931, in Spokane, Washington. He grew up just outside of Seattle and studied at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. He also attended a university within the state of Washington. He has lived in several places within the States, but now resides in Carson City, Nevada, with his wife Leigh, who has contributed to the success of his books greatly. In the past, he served in the army, taught college-level English, and worked as purchaser for Boeing Aircraft. He penned his first novel High Hunt, in 1973. His big break however, came in 1984, with his novel The Belgariad. |
