Temperamental Hard Drives
Ever had one of those days when it just didn't seem like a good idea to get out of bed? It can be a little disheartening waking up to a dead hard drive in your main Linux server, let me tell you. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I uploaded all of the files and databases for syngin.com to Kilroy9's web server just yesterday. *whew*
I did lose quite a bit however. Handcoded server config files, the databases for Boreal, Minerva and my new project Tiamat. I've still got the database schemas though so it wasn't a total lose although it will probably take a week to get the databases back to where they were. At least I didn't lose any of the project code.
I guess that's what I get for trusting an old 6 gig hard drive. ;-P
